हाईकोर्ट ने राजधानी में आपातकालीन वाहनों की 24 घंटे बिना बाधा आवाजाही के लिए सड़क पर अलग लेन बनाने की मांग पर विचार करने के लिए केंद्र सरकार से कहा है। इस मुद्दे पर याचिका दायर की गई थी। हालांकि अदालत ने इसे सड़क की चौड़ाई व नीतिगत मामला बताते हुए सुनवाई और आदेश देने से इनकार कर दिया। फिलहाल सरकार को याचिका पर बतौर ज्ञापन विचार करने को कहा है।

The High Court has asked the central government to consider seeking a separate lane on the road for 24-hour uninterrupted movement of emergency vehicles in the capital. A petition was filed on this issue. However, the court refused to hear and order it, describing it as road widening and a policy matter. At present, the government has been asked to consider the petition as a memorandum.
